Friday
Rte 1 9.35
The Late Late Toy Show
It's every kid in Ireland's favourite show of the year hosted by Tubby
Now to be fair over the last few weeks it has been good but to be fair if peter KAY was interviewed by Joe Finnegan it would still be the best thing on rte all year hands down

SOAPS

Coronation Street
Vic Reeves believes Norris is his dad when Norris asked him are you sure Vic should have said why on earth would I make it up.
When I Said Robert in hospital I though he was in for over-acting

Update 6th October

Welcome to Tadhg tv you lucky people

Saturday
BBC 1
6.35
Strictly
Even though the presenters are about as much craic as getting soaked to the skin at a Boyle Celtic match it's still far more entertaining then the x factor and it focuses on the contestants not the judges

Sunday
Tv3
7.30
X factor
This is the start of the 6 chair challenge
The successful singers sit on a  chair but have to give up their seat if a better singer performs. I think the chairs should go back like Graham Norton's big red chair. :-)

Monday
Network 2
7.45
Ireland vs Wales
It's the big one and I think Ireland have a good chance and I will all be cheering on the boys in green.

Tuesday
Channel 4
8pm
Great British bake off
I know its very different to the BBC bake off but Noel fielding is the best presenter as unfortunately Sid James isn't available for the job  YAK YAK YAK

Wednesday
BBC 1
9pm
Apprentice
DUM DE DUM DE DUM DE DUM DE DUM DE DUM DE DA DA
I was shocked when I saw the contestants are worse then lasts years ... I didn't think that was possible.

Thursday
E4 8.30
The big bang theory
This is a rare thing in that  It's a genuinely funny American comedy and the boys girlfriends are as funny as the boys
Look out for a cameo by MR Stephen Hawking himself.

Friday
BBC 1
9.30
Porridge
We all remember the classic comedy with Ronnie Barkers, Norman Stanley Fletcher well its back but this time it's Fletcher,s grandson who is a chip off the old block.
I will put it simply if you like your classic British comedy I recommend a diet of porridge

Soaps
Fair City
The new character is different in that he is actually played by a decent actor.
Ray is doing up a car but I always knew he was fond of an old banger

Coronation street
Rita awakes from her operation surrounded by Jenny GEMMA and Norris
Well I'm surprised she didn't ask am I in hell
Andy is still been held hostage by Phelan but it could be worse he could be living with Gail Platt.

Eastenders
The teacher was going out with Sonya (miss personality) Jackson but was more interested in Becca
the daughter well I would be more interested in dot cotton then misery Sonya
Phil Mitchell was  getting phone calls but noone was talking when he answered
I think its because the person couldn't hear Phil because he was speaking so low.

That's your lot for this week
Enjoy the weekend

Update 9th September

Your very welcome to Tadhg tv

Saturday
Bbc 1 7pm
Strictly
It's time to grab your glitterballs and watch the new series of the dancing show. I remember the legendary Brucie was host for a few years. He was full of fun and told loads of gags and had a few catchphrases. He was replaced by Claudia who's catchphrase is and now the next dancer. She is as much craic as Sonia in Eastenders.

Sunday
BBC 2  8pm
Astronauts
Don't be annoyed that this is a reality show it's the best  show of the year. A group of people are put through a range of tests so assist if they have what it takes to be an astronaut. I was going to apply for it myself because people are calling me a spacer for years.

Monday
3e 10pm
Cold Feet
Welcome return for this brilliant show
I'm sure the cast were nervous about bringing the show back and some of them had cold feet.

Tuesday
Bbc 1 9pm
Dr Foster
Is there a doctor in the house well on.Tuesday night's there certainly is. Season 2 picks up 2 years after the events  of season 1. Of course  we all remember when the main actress was in Corrie. She was married to Steve McDonald but then which female character on the street wasn't at this stage.

Wednesday
Network 2 7pm
Champions league
I'm happy to see midweek football back even if  Liverpool are playing.

Thursday
Sky Atlantic 9pm
Tin Star
I watched this last night it's a bit of a copy and paste  action drama but its still very watchable

Friday
Channel 4 9pm
Gogglebox
Well this is a proper Friday night treat with fun and laughs provided by the people we know and love. The best way to describe the show is calling it's a real life version of the Royle family with dave doing the voice over.

Soaps

Eastenders
It wasn't a quite week on the square it was a quite mental week
Mad max branning walked into a burning building twice without a scratch proving he is the devil.
Can I please state I was not driving the lorry that rammed into the ambulance.

All the best

Ray Donovan
Big Ray and the family are back. Now in my humble opinion this is the best show to hit our screens since poor ole Tony Soprano

Update 5th August

Welcome to my tv highlights for the week

Nothing on tv so why not head into town and enjoy the rock the clock festival. there is music from 10pm and a firework display at 11pm everyone should try to support the lads and together we will make Boyle great again

Sunday
BBC1 9pm
Podark
This is the final for this year my big question is will Ross every take off the hat.

Monday
Network 2 2pm
Roscommon vs Mayo
Roscommon are playing Mayo again and I wonder when we beat Mayo will Andy Moran declare for the Rossies.

Tuesday
BBC 1 9pm
Trust Me
New BBC drama about  a person who goes to a hospital and poses as a doctor in the emergency department. If it was Ireland the hospital would not question but would be delighted to see the extra pair of hands.

Wednesday
Channel 4 8pm
Animal Rescue Live
This show is on all week with the super vet himself Noel Fitzpatrick. He is attempting to rehome a number of different animals. I really hope he is successful as animals are fantastic they have absolutely no agenda like many human's do.

Thursday
RTE10.10
All round to Mrs Brown's
This is an extremely welcome repeat for The mother of all comedies.
Angus like any Irish mother's will never let ya down.

Friday
3E 8:30
Celebrity Big Brother
Just when ya thought it was safe to switch on the TV the doors of the big brother house are flung wide open.
This year the so called celebrities include Barry from Eastenders and mediun Derek Acorah.
Last night Derek tried to contact the dead but had to explain to Barry that Pat Butcher was only dead on tv but unfortunately this acting career is well and truly  gone.

SOAPS

Eastenders
Well Lisa is unstable but I know that years ago I mean she was married to PHIL for years.
Phil's holiday did him the world of good he was relaxed when he came back about as relaxed as a bull in a China shop.
Whitney has come back to the square along with Woody as in would he marry her if he know the truth about Mick.

Coronation Street
When the shop keeper found out his girlfriend was seeing Kevin Webster behind his back he was upset in fact you could say he was DEVastated.
Peter Barlow took over a pub which would be a bit like me opening a sweet shop where I would be my own best customer.
Now it's rumoured that Rita is leaving so I wonder who will go into her kabin.

Fair City
Carol's dad is playing up a good bit you should say his trigger happy. Charlotte feels she can't trust Oisin well there's some advice how do ya know when he is lying.... when he opens his mouth

That's is for the week
Remember to drink local as well as shop local
Enjoy your WEEKEND

Update 31st July

Welcome to another Tadhg tv

Saturday 29th
BBC 1 8:55
Casualty
Medical drama where there is never a dull moment,  they were going to make an Irish version of it but decided it wouldn't work because all is would show is a number of patients on trolleys.

Sunday 30th
Network 2 4pm
Roscommon
Well this is the big one we will all get behind the Rossies and of course the Boyle lads will do us proud as always

Monday 31st
Sky Atlantic 9pm
Game of Thrones
Bit of a slow start but I'm sure things will be hotting up soon especially when the dragons become involved in proceedings

Tuesday August 1st
Carrick Cinema
War of the Planet of the Apes
No monkeying around here plenty of action. I really enjoyed the movie. The monkeys have far better actors then some of the Human cast

Wednesday
UTV 9pm
Long Lost Family
This is a brilliant show but so emotional the last time I was so upset watching a tv show was when I heard Ryan Tubby's contract has been renewed

Thursday
Netflix
Jessica Jones
Great show based on a Marvel comic book great action and cast. As I mentioned before there has never been a better time to be a comic book fan

Friday
E Midnight
Tonight with Jimmy Fallon
My favourite of all the American chat show with sketches, songs  great guests and of course a great opening monologue

Now I thought Ray Darcy was doing a monologue on his first Saturday night show back in October 2015 and I'll still waiting for the punchline. Remember the tonight show is shown on E the night after its shown in the states so it's only a day behind.

That's it for this week

This is another day out for the mighty Rossies on the way to the all Ireland final in September

Wednesday
Channel 4 10pm
The Windsors
Well another season of this comedy based on the royal family. Remember - Life is stranger than fiction

Thursday
7.40
Faulty Towers
There are classic comedies you can watch over and over again. This comedy based in Torquay is certainly one of them.

Friday
BBC 1 9pm
Peter Kay Comedy Shuffle
The legendary peter Kay is back with a new series of classic comedy cuts now last week they showed a clip of peter been interviewed by the long string of misery on the late late show and the host  was as much craic as a bout of food poisoning but peter was brilliant as always.

Soaps

Fair City
Dermot handed himself in I think he is been arrested for multiple charges of seriously bad acting.

EastEnders
A new family landed and the mother makes Shirley Carter look like Alexis Carrington.
Steven has placed a tracker on Lauren but he could be watching worst he could be watching this daft storyline dragging on and on.

Coronation Street
So Kevin Webster is having another affair with the actress who played Kim Tate in Emmerdale.
It's hard to keep up with all the actors leaving one soap to bigger and better things only to show up in another soap less then a year later.

That's it for this week
Hope you all have a great weekend

Derek had a big secret I though it was he used to be involved in the best comedies every made and is now reduced to a bit role in a soap the STUPID boy
Dot fell in the house and was found my Sonya (ray of sunshine) Jackson if I was found by Sonya I would shout is there anyone else there.

Coronation street
Pat Phelan  has now discovered he is a father it might mellow him but there is better more of a chance of Gail Platt getting a decent haircut.
Eva was upset when she found out Aidan was having an affair with Maria now it could be worst he could have been having one with Rita.

Fair City
Great storyline this week including ...
Return of doormat  who thinks someone was  following him when he was on the run I doubt it was anyone from Hollywood looking for him anyways
Robbie and the legendary Carol are the best thing on Fair City but saying that its easily done!

It's the biggest night of the year for wrestling fans this 4 hour extravaganza is broadcast live from the states starting at midnight Irish time. I will be watching it unfold live this year if I can stay awake that is!

Tuesday
Channel 4  10:30
This Is Us
Right - this restored  my faith in US  drama it's about a couple who have triplets in the 80s and each episode switches from the past to the present and each episode is an emotional rollercoaster!

Wednesday
Sky hits 8pm
Star Wars The Force Awakens
Now anyone who hasn't seen this already should be ashamed of themselves it's so worth a watch and it was filmed in Ireland! Force yourself to watch it again.

Thursday
E4  8:30
The Big Bang Theory
My favorite comedy is still as funny as it was when it started and the girlfriends who are definitely as funny and probably have better lines then their male counterparts! Even if you don't know your superman from your Harley Quinn you will still really enjoy this good old fashioned sitcom!
