Update 24th August

Saturday
BBC 1 6.40
Ant Man
Another MARVELous movie with Paul Rudd as Ant Man a superhero who can shrink to any size. Well I'm a big fan of  superhero movies as you all know but you have to remember that not all superheroes wear caps and the people of Boyle have shown me that time and time again.

Sunday
BBC 1 9pm
Peaky Blinders
Well everyones favorite show is back and better then ever so watch it at 9pm Sunday by order of tadhg tv

Monday
RTE 1, 8pm
The Rose of Tralee
Yes it's back for another year live  from the dome in Trelee hosted by Daithi O'Shea and don't forget for  subtitles please go to page 888

Tuesday
Channel 4, 8pm
Great British Bake Off
Another tadhg tv favorite. Be prepared for more soggy bottoms and more double entendre then you can shake your stick at
I can imagine if this was make in the 1960s - Carry on favorite Sid James would have been the ideal presenter

Wednesday
Gold 8pm
Dad's Army
Yes its an absolute classic and I know we all saw every episode already but its still one of the best BBC comedies of all time including catchphrases and lots of laugh out loud jokes
It never fails to put a smile on my face and sometimes laughter is certainly the best medicine

Thursday
Channel 4, 10pm
This Way Up
New funny comedy starring Irish funny lady Aisling Bea and Sharon Horgan (sister of Irish rugby legend Shane Horgan)
So its about a lady who has a nervous breakdown and she journey back to normality
I thought sounds like comedy gold but it definitely isn't

Friday
E4 and Netflix
Rick and Morty
This is the best animated comedy out at the moment and it was brought to my attention by the little legends in Boyle Cubs
So It's about a grandfather and his grandson BUT the grandfather is an invertor and it's basically back to the future for laughs.

Eastenders
Max Brennan is going out with little Ruby Allen. I wonder what she sees in him - it reminds me of when Mrs Merton asked Debbie McGhee what attracted you to the millionaire magician Paul Daniels

Mick Carter has a panic attack he must have seen a script of the Christmas Day episode where he has an affair with Dot Cotton

So Mel's son has broken out of prison and is now on the run. So the hunter is become the hunted

Corrie
Steve MacDonald discovered he had a child in the 90s with hairdresser Fiona Middleton
But to be fair Fiona had everything Steve desired from a girl in the 90s - like a pulse

Little Max Platt is causing havoc but then he didn't pick it up off the ground.

Fair City
Paul Brennan's had more girlfriends then I've had hot dinners which is really saying a lot
But current girlfriend Fiona is a dead ringer for the Wicked Queen from Snow White.

That's it for this week! ALWAYS remember in the words of the great Kenny Everett
"It's all been done in the best possible taste".
