Update 20th January

Saturday
Virgin media 8pm
The Voice UK
Yes the proper singing show is back the singers are not judged on their sob story or indeed what they look like but solely on their voice.

Sunday
BBC 1 9pm
Les Miserables
Another Sunday evening another top class BBC drama. This is very well done with a great cast but too be honest I prefer Les Battersby

Monday
Netflix
Gotham
This is one of my absolute favorite tv shows
It's about Jim Gordon a police office in Gotham city which is also home to a young Bruce Wayne, along with a well and wonderful selection of villains from a young Penguin to a young Mr Freeze. Its a quality show.

Tuesday
Carrick Cinema
18'20
Stan and Ollie
This is going to be fantastic it's everyone's favourite double act Laurel and Hardy doing a tour of the uk and Ireland which saw  ill health and a few fine messes now if you have not seen a  laurel and hardy feature in a while they are all available for free on YouTube I couldn't recommend a short called Laughing Gravy highly enough. Its a comedy masterclass.

Wednesday
Network 2
9pm
Vikings
The fellas with the long horns are back
Its a brilliant show and all filmed in Bray

Welcome to tadhg TV hope you enjoy my tv highlights and lowlights for the week

Saturday
ITV 2.30
Wos wrestling
Well now ya know me and my wrestling but this is ITV wresting with all British wrestlers which I think is a brilliant way of increasing the profile of uk wrestling companies.
Some readers might remember watchingITV wrestling on a Saturday afternoon in the 70s/80s well hopefully this will be return to the glory days of British wrestling

Sunday
BBC 1 9pm
The Bodyguard
Well this is simply the best show on TV in years
More twists and turns then the road from Boyle to Roscommon town
It's the finale but its a brilliant 75 minutes in length

Monday
BBC 1 9pm
Reported missing
Another brilliant BBC show showing a police search for a real live missing person shown in real time

Tuesday
Channel 4 8pm
Great British bake off
It's great to see this brilliantly entertaining show back with new contestant and challenges but the same jokes and comments we all know and love for example a contestant was caramelising his nuts a few weeks ago.

Wednesday

SOAPS

Fair City
Well it was a busy week In Fair City the knives were out and unfortunately Karrie Ann got stabbed
Robbie got locked in a freezer and he came out looking like Mr Freeze from Batman
Finally Bob and Rennie are getting ready for there wedding now bear in mind when Bob got married on Brookside he ended up been buried under the patio

Eastenders
The question of who shot Stuart is hard answered I mean I would nearly shoot him myself at this stage
Sharon and Keanau  are having an affair well it's enough for Phil Mitchell to hit the bottle not that he needs much of a. Excuse
Finally Kush gave out to Carmel for befriending her sons killer's mother Kush said why don't you give her the shirt off your back well more fool him because Carmel was wearing a dress not a shirt

Coronation Street
Jim McDonald is back and in fine form swindling his ex-wife. He's a great character so he is, so he is, so he is.
Now Sally was send to jail but it could be worse she could be still married to Kevin Webster
Finally Lewis is a great character but his girlfriends daughter was not impressed to see him. He should have been prepared - I mean there were strong Gail warnings on Wednesday

Now that's it for this week
Remember drink local and shop local

Friday
Rte 1 9.35
The Late Late Toy Show
It's every kid in Ireland's favourite show of the year hosted by Tubby
Now to be fair over the last few weeks it has been good but to be fair if peter KAY was interviewed by Joe Finnegan it would still be the best thing on rte all year hands down

SOAPS

Coronation Street
Vic Reeves believes Norris is his dad when Norris asked him are you sure Vic should have said why on earth would I make it up.
When I Said Robert in hospital I though he was in for over-acting

Karen and the family are great characters and are involved in great storylines

Update 6th October

Welcome to Tadhg tv you lucky people

Saturday
BBC 1
6.35
Strictly
Even though the presenters are about as much craic as getting soaked to the skin at a Boyle Celtic match it's still far more entertaining then the x factor and it focuses on the contestants not the judges

Sunday
Tv3
7.30
X factor
This is the start of the 6 chair challenge
The successful singers sit on a  chair but have to give up their seat if a better singer performs. I think the chairs should go back like Graham Norton's big red chair. :-)

Monday
Network 2
7.45
Ireland vs Wales
It's the big one and I think Ireland have a good chance and I will all be cheering on the boys in green.

Tuesday
Channel 4
8pm
Great British bake off
I know its very different to the BBC bake off but Noel fielding is the best presenter as unfortunately Sid James isn't available for the job  YAK YAK YAK

Wednesday
BBC 1
9pm
Apprentice
DUM DE DUM DE DUM DE DUM DE DUM DE DUM DE DA DA
I was shocked when I saw the contestants are worse then lasts years ... I didn't think that was possible.

Thursday
E4 8.30
The big bang theory
This is a rare thing in that  It's a genuinely funny American comedy and the boys girlfriends are as funny as the boys
Look out for a cameo by MR Stephen Hawking himself.

Friday
BBC 1
9.30
Porridge
We all remember the classic comedy with Ronnie Barkers, Norman Stanley Fletcher well its back but this time it's Fletcher,s grandson who is a chip off the old block.
I will put it simply if you like your classic British comedy I recommend a diet of porridge

Soaps
Fair City
The new character is different in that he is actually played by a decent actor.
Ray is doing up a car but I always knew he was fond of an old banger

Coronation street
Rita awakes from her operation surrounded by Jenny GEMMA and Norris
Well I'm surprised she didn't ask am I in hell
Andy is still been held hostage by Phelan but it could be worse he could be living with Gail Platt.

Eastenders
The teacher was going out with Sonya (miss personality) Jackson but was more interested in Becca
the daughter well I would be more interested in dot cotton then misery Sonya
Phil Mitchell was  getting phone calls but noone was talking when he answered
I think its because the person couldn't hear Phil because he was speaking so low.

That's your lot for this week
Enjoy the weekend

Update 9th September

Your very welcome to Tadhg tv

Saturday
Bbc 1 7pm
Strictly
It's time to grab your glitterballs and watch the new series of the dancing show. I remember the legendary Brucie was host for a few years. He was full of fun and told loads of gags and had a few catchphrases. He was replaced by Claudia who's catchphrase is and now the next dancer. She is as much craic as Sonia in Eastenders.

Sunday
BBC 2  8pm
Astronauts
Don't be annoyed that this is a reality show it's the best  show of the year. A group of people are put through a range of tests so assist if they have what it takes to be an astronaut. I was going to apply for it myself because people are calling me a spacer for years.

Monday
3e 10pm
Cold Feet
Welcome return for this brilliant show
I'm sure the cast were nervous about bringing the show back and some of them had cold feet.

Tuesday
Bbc 1 9pm
Dr Foster
Is there a doctor in the house well on.Tuesday night's there certainly is. Season 2 picks up 2 years after the events  of season 1. Of course  we all remember when the main actress was in Corrie. She was married to Steve McDonald but then which female character on the street wasn't at this stage.

Wednesday
Network 2 7pm
Champions league
I'm happy to see midweek football back even if  Liverpool are playing.

Thursday
Sky Atlantic 9pm
Tin Star
I watched this last night it's a bit of a copy and paste  action drama but its still very watchable

Friday
Channel 4 9pm
Gogglebox
Well this is a proper Friday night treat with fun and laughs provided by the people we know and love. The best way to describe the show is calling it's a real life version of the Royle family with dave doing the voice over.

Soaps

Eastenders
It wasn't a quite week on the square it was a quite mental week
Mad max branning walked into a burning building twice without a scratch proving he is the devil.
Can I please state I was not driving the lorry that rammed into the ambulance.

That's it for this week
All the best
